As a Canadian company, we live in North, and we build for it.

Before modular homes were even part of the conversation, our family was hauling fuel, freight and essentials into remote communities across Manitoba and Saskatchewan. That work taught us a lot: how to plan for tough roads, how to show up no matter the weather, and most of all, how to build trust that lasts.

That same spirit guides everything CK RTM Homes does today. We design and deliver homes that meet the real needs of First Nations and northern communities; our homes arrive safe and are built to stay standing for the long haul. Every house is built in our Selkirk, Manitoba, by people who care about the work. From the frame to the finishes, we focus on doing things right.

So when your home lands in your community, it's ready to be lived in. Our approach is simple: build homes right, get them there safe, and stand by what we deliver.

CK RTM Homes was started in 2021 by Avis Penner. But the roots run much deeper.

Avis grew up in a family business that delivered fuel to fly-in communities and, with it, a deep respect for the North and the people who call it home. Over the years, he saw the same housing challenges come up again and again: a lack of adequate housing, not enough time and not enough trust in the companies delivering them.

So he decided to build something better.

With a strong network, a hands-on team and a well-kept shop in Selkirk, Avis leads every part of CK RTM Homes with one clear goal: to deliver safe, comfortable homes that northern families can count on.

Avis is proud of what is being built. And even prouder of where these homes end up.
